Netwater Technology has supplied a SolidTech®Nw30 thick screen with a metal channel, to channel the water to be treated and in this way automate the process in the pumping well and replace the current manual filter basket with guides:

• SolidTech®Nw30 thick grating, to treat Qmax 250m3/h, with 30mm clearance, main construction material in AISI-304L, we have installed 6 cleaning combs on the grating to increase the frequency of cleaning the equipment, due to at which the depth of the well is 6.5mt.

Netwater Technology, has managed to meet the needs of our client, in this work they had installed a manual basket with guides at the water inlet to the pumping well, but it allowed the passage of a lot of waste that eventually clogged the pumps. Netwater designed a metal channel with a series of supports to the bottom of the pumping well, this channel serves to direct the raw water towards the filtering grid of the coarse grating, in this way the water that enters the area of the pumps is filtered and free of large residues that are what cause innumerable failures in existing pumps.

By installing the grate with the metal channel we have achieved TWO objectives:

• Automate coarse solids roughing process in pumping.
• Protect and preserve the pumps from possible breakdowns caused by large waste, which are now retained and extracted by the SolidTech®Nw30 thick screen, before waste can enter to the pumps and cause any breakdown.

Netwater has supplied the SolidTech®Nw30 thick grating + Metal channel + Electrical control panel with electric variator that protects the equipment against a possible jam that the equipment cleaning comb system may suffer, stopping it and preserving the integrity of the equipment, this variator also allows to regulate the speed of the cleaning combs.
