We have supplied an equipment for the screening of fine solids: RotaTech®Nw70T.D63.180, for a flow of 330m3 / h with 3mm passage light in AISI-316. Which has replaced a static screen HIDRANET, which had a very poor functioning and had to be monitored constantly by the maintenance personnel. With the installation of our equipment, we have proceeded to the automation of the whole process in order to improve the performance of equipment at the level of retention and extraction of solids, such as electricity consumption. The time of operation of the equipment was set up, together with the plant manager, by means of timers installed in the control panel, depending on the filling time of the inlet chamber, before the water poured through the overflow security. With this configuration of work has been achieved very short operating times, the equipment stands about 52 minutes per hour and runs 8 minutes per hour. This way the equipment only works the precise time to perform its function efficiently producing great energy savings and prolonging the life of the equipment.
